Function to Count Booleans
There are occasions in a model where I want to count the number of True or False boolean values. Currently the only way to achieve this is to have another line item with an IF THEN function to create a 1 or 0 and then sum the line item. It would be great to have a function to do this automatically.

Add ability to assign a functional area to a new module in the create a module dialogue box
It would save time to not have to always go back to the modules tab and assign a functional area if I could do it upon creating the module, which seems sensible!

Alias Names for Time, Versions, Modules, Line Items and Dashboards
Hi Anaplan, It would be great for Anaplan to allow users to create alias names for: time, versions, modules, dashboard, list and lineitems. Thanks, Usman

Extend the number of future years
For the purpose of calculating lease contracts in IFRS 16 it's sometimes needed to have wide time ranges in the model. Currently, the amount of future years is limited up to 50 years and past years up to 20 years (link). This means you have a maximum time range of 70 years. We experience that some lease contracts extend 70…

FEATURE REQUEST: Universal List that can be used in all Models
Currently, the process to use same list across different models is a complicated process of importing lists from one model to another. If Anaplan really plans to be the a Connected Planning tool, they should have a feature of having a Universal List that can be used across all models without doing import. I am proposing…

As a builder, I need to implement more advanced workflows
Description: Would be great to add workflow functionality that includes * Submission and approval workflows * Trigger an event on an action or on approval * Use workflow status in formulas

Automatically rollback the model if an action within a process fails
Description of the enhancement required: Process rollback upon failure. An example of the enhancement: If an action within a process fails, then all the prior actions that succeeded should be erased How would it help their business process: The fact that a process "half-way" runs and my end user doesn't tell me, has…

New Line Item Text Format Type - SmallText
First, I would like to address that I do not know how the back end of Anaplan is built, so I am unsure as to the possibility or ease of implementation of this idea. The idea is taking a concept from SQL Server. SQL Server has the following data types for storing integer values: bigint, int, smallint, and tinyint. The below…

Breakback for line items with Boolean format
As a model developer, I want to have option to set Breakback for Boolean input line items. This would be great especially for filters, using multi-level filters based on one Boolean line item can become easier. It should work if summary is set as "Any" or "All", and Breakback is ON for the line item, then clicking on…

IsLastOccurrence
We have Native IsFirstOccurrence functionality which helps us in a number of ways while modelling. I think having IsLastOccurrence will also be equally helpful in Anaplan.

List subset from formula
I'd love to have the ability to create a list subset from a formula. That would give a great way to pre-filter and limit sparsity in modules.
-
Show Subsets in the General List area in settings under the List they belong to
I would love to see the subsets created under the list they belong to in the General List area in settings. It would make using them and maintaining them easier. And, when learning new models, it's really hard to tell the difference b/n a subset and a list and to what list the subset belongs to.
-
Time Subsets
We would like the ability to create time subsets for more granular time ranges (days, weeks, months), that may not match the current model Time Scale of Years, Quarters, etc.

In the drill down window being able to filter on values for non blank or non than zero
Hi Anaplan, It would be amazing if within the drill down view you were able to filter on a list of values for items that are non blank or non zero. So for example if you're looking at a calculation with a dimension that has 1000 items you can see only the relevant items with non zero or non blank values that contributing…

Week Coverage, also known as forward coverage or stock cover
A description of the enhancement requested Week Coverage, also known as forward coverage or stock cover. As an example we have Forecast Sales and Current Stock. Formula should calculate how many future periods of forecast will be covered by Current stock. This is achievable in Anaplan with below function: Look Forward +…

Automate/Improve Resetting Next Item Index for Lists
Problem: There is no automated or pre-emptive way to reset the “Next item index” on a list without first clearing the list. Issues Caused: When using a data hub with a large data set that is refreshed daily, we regularly exhaust the item index. This causes the import process to fail and results in refreshing of all…

Enable Keyboard shortcuts in NUX
Currently, the quick search (Ctrl + Shift + S) to look for an item in a grid from the old UX is not working in the new UX. Would be great to have that working again, as our clients are using that a lot.

New UX: Dynamic grid update based on filter settings
As a model builder I want to be able to setup a Grid which will be updated dynamically every time after a user wants to reselect any line item published as Field or Grid which are used as filters, but without the necessity of reloading the page. Current behaviour allows to have the same effect, but only if the User list is…

Drag & Drop Manage Views
The current process for managing saved views for modules is a bit time consuming. If you have a lot of saved views for a module and you need to sort them out. You need to click each saved view and either click "Move Up" or "Move Down", then it would still take time for the system to refresh. So imagine if you have 10 or…

Filter what appears in the dropdown for a list-formatted line item with a boolean
Current state Currently, you can filter a list using the "Selective access" and "Dependent" checkboxes when you go to the Format property of a line item, or you can create a list subset. It may happen that you want to have more control over what appears in the list than the checkboxes allow... but applying a subset comes…

Use process inside another process
We have some instances where we are incorporating multiple actions into more processes. Instead of adding action A,B,C,D,E,F into 4 different processes, we could bundle this into Process X. Process X can then be used in the 4 different processes. This will make the maintenance more convenient. E.g. we can ad action G or…

Be able to select a default summary type for a model
In the spirit of trying to keep our models size-efficient, we encourage model builders to set the summary type to "none" whenever possible in calculation modules (trying to follow the DISCO method here!). Unfortunately, when a new line item is created, the summary type always defaults to "sum" and it's very easy for model…

Ability to use Roles as a dimension

Lookup Function -enhance this function with adding ability to ignore module's default dimensionality
Description of the enhancement required: Lookup Function - enhance this function with adding ability to ignore module's default dimensionality when using lookup. Add a custom formula for summary that doesn't necessarily apply to rest of cells in that line item
Description of the enhancement required: The ability to add a customized formula for the summary that does not necessarily apply to the rest of the rows within that line item (currently the formula for the line item becomes the formula for the summary if you are to select the "Formula" summary option). How would it help…

Block line items deletion when used in saved views or actions
As a model builder i need to not be able to delete any line item that is present in a saved view and / or used in an action in connected models. With the growing number of connected models and their imports between models as the connection, any line item deletion, move or renaming can result in breaking the models import…

Allow un-balanced hierarchies on composite hierarchies for child hierarchies
As a model builder, I would like to be able to add "parent" elements into the child hierarchies (Level 2, 3, etc.). As for now, in a child hierarchy is allowed only to add leaves elements (elements without children) because as "parent" are allowed to be set only elements from the parent hierarchy. As for now, the unbalance…

Create a "Date Last Modified" column in Modules to let Admins see when line items were last changed
I would like the ability to interrogate when a Module has received changes to specific line items to help in troubleshooting bugs. For example, when someone changes a line item's summary type, or formular, or data type, or name etc. this should ideally change the "Date Last Modified" for that line item. I could see this…

An NPV formula that calculates as Excel's does
Description: To have an NPV formula function that calculates NPV exactly as Excel's period-based NPV formula does. We are in a position of having prospective customers and existing customers use…

When Adding A New Line Item - No Data Format
I would like to request that when a new line item is added into a module, rather than defaulting the format to Number as is standard, it defaults to "No Data". Immediate ROI: - Automatically won't toast the model if you write a formula without changing the format * In another post, someone asked what do you "always forget…
