Level 2 - Sprint 2 - 2.4.11.1

2.4.11.1 Create Product Family Manager Role

In the Supply Chain model, add a new role: Product Family Manager.

Each Product Family Manager should be able to make changes to the Volume Growth Rates for only their assigned Product Family, but only view the data for the other three Product Families.

The Product Family Manager role should be able to see the Detailed Demand data but not override any values.

The Product Family Manager role does not need access to any other modules.

I want help regarding the above activity.

This will be about the read and write access for those roles which can be controlled in Users->Roles-Modules.

This is also about Selective Access at the Product dimension as well.

    Thanks,

    Misbah

  • Can you explain how to go  ahead with the activity step by step

  • @Yogitha

This is about creating role and giving access to respective roles.

Go to users> roles- modules. as Misbah mentioned.

To addition to it. under the requirement of each role. for example: (Each Product Family Manager should be able to make changes to the Volume Growth Rates) you need to give the write access to that  volume growth module for product family manager role.

(make changes/ can able change ---- write access

can view / view only ---- read access)

This was just an example for understanding.

Do accordingly as they  asked to do.

    Hope you understand the requirement.

    Thanks,
