Previous/Lag Function Not Working

Hi,

I have 2 line item and on the other line item I used a Previous() function to try and get the last actuals value to spread it in forecast but it seems to not work, I also tried LAG() and same issue. What could possibly be the issue or is there a workaround on this please?

Below is the module, it is dimensioned by 2 list and Time.

Your input will be helpful, thanks.

Hi @BrunoRodriguez below is the sys01 dimensioned with version and time.

  • Hello @innocent ,

It seems like you SYS01 Actual Month is always TRUE. As such, it is never going into the second part of the if statement.

Once you resolve that bit a create a boolean that differenciates across forecast and actual period it will work.

    Cheers!

Hi @BrunoRodriguez thanks for the quick response. Sorry that I didn't show it in this view as you can see the actual isn't always TRUE. It's just not picking up the forecast for some reason I can't explain.

  • Hello @innocent ,

Do you have versions in your target?

    Cheers!

    Kind regards,

    Bruno Rodriguez

  • Hello @BrunoRodriguez no there isn't, that's probably the issue?
    Thanks

  • Hello @innocent,

What is your Current Version? As the booleans for that one are probably being used. I guess that it will be always TRUE.

    Cheers!

Thanks @BrunoRodriguez the current version is the version below and for DEC 22 and it is checked as true. Atleast it should bring value in for DEC 22 for the current verison but it doesn't. I'm not too sure why it's not working.
Thank you very much for the response.
