To import data to Anaplan using Power Automate by custom connector, you will need to follow these steps:

    2. In the custom connector, specify the following information:
      • Anaplan API endpoint
      • Anaplan username and password
      • Anaplan model name
      • Anaplan view name
    3. Create a flow in Power Automate.
    4. In the flow, add the custom connector you created in step 1.
    5. In the custom connector, specify the following information:
      • Data to import
      • Import method (e.g., import to a new view, import to an existing view)
    6. Run the flow.

Here are the detailed steps on how to create a custom connector in Power Automate:

    1. In Power Automate, go to the Connector tab.

    9. In the Model Name field, enter the name of the Anaplan model you want to import data to.
    10. In the View Name field, enter the name of the Anaplan view you want to import data to.
    11. Click Create.

Here are the detailed steps on how to create a flow in Power Automate:

    1. In Power Automate, go to the Home tab.
    2. Click Create.
    3. Select Automate a workflow.
    4. In the Start trigger field, select the trigger that you want to use to start your flow.
    5. In the Add an action field, search for the custom connector you created in step 1.
    6. Drag and drop the custom connector onto the canvas.
    7. In the custom connector, specify the following information:
      • Data to import
      • Import method (e.g., import to a new view, import to an existing view)
    8. Click Save.
    9. Click Run.

Once you have completed these steps, your flow will import the data you specified to Anaplan.

Can someone help me to figure it out and dynamically map fields to the appropriate columns in Anaplan will depend on the data format and the specific requirements

  • the steps on how to dynamically map fields to the appropriate columns in Anaplan while importing data into Anaplan using Power Automate by custom connector:

    1. Create a new Power Automate flow.
    2. In the left pane, select "Create" > "Automate a workflow" > "From blank".
    3. In the "Choose an action" pane, search for and select "Get Data" > "From a custom connector".
    4. In the "Select a connector" pane, select the "Anaplan" connector.
    5. In the "Sign in to Anaplan" pane, enter your Anaplan credentials and select "Sign in".
    6. In the "Choose a table" pane, select the table that you want to import data into.
    7. In the "Choose a column" pane, select the columns that you want to import data into.
    8. In the "Choose a data source" pane, select the data source that contains the data that you want to import.
    9. In the "Configure mapping" pane, map the fields from the data source to the columns in Anaplan.
    10. In the "Review and test" pane, review the flow and test it to make sure that it works as expected.
    11. When you are satisfied with the flow, select "Create".

The flow will now import data from the data source into the Anaplan table. The fields from the data source will be mapped to the columns in Anaplan according to the mapping that you configured.

Here are some additional details about each step:

    • In step 2, you can select to create a new flow or use an existing flow. If you select to create a new flow, you will be able to choose from a variety of templates or start from scratch.
    • In step 3, you can search for connectors by name or category. Once you have found the connector that you want to use, select it to add it to the flow.
    • In step 4, you will need to enter your Anaplan credentials. You can find your credentials in the Anaplan web application.
    • In step 5, you will need to select the table that you want to import data into. You can find a list of tables in the Anaplan web application.
    • In step 6, you will need to select the columns that you want to import data into. You can find a list of columns in the Anaplan web application.
    • In step 7, you will need to select the data source that contains the data that you want to import. You can find a list of data sources in the Power Automate web application.
    • In step 8, you will need to map the fields from the data source to the columns in Anaplan. You can map the fields by name or by position.
    • In step 9, you can review the flow and test it to make sure that it works as expected.
