Summary: In this course, you will learn the foundational Anaplan concepts and technical model building skills that you need to constructively participate in an Anaplan implementation. This is a hands-on course; in step-by-step lessons, you’ll build a model designed to meet the needs of end users in a fictional company.
Course Objectives: By the end of this class, you should be able to:
Identify the basic building blocks of Anaplan
Explain the use of dimensions in Anaplan models
Demonstrate how to access and use Anaplan's basic model building features
Manually import data into lists and modules
Use Blueprint view to add formatting and functionality to data
Create basic formulas within individual modules and across modules
Design and create dashboards
Set model access for users

After completing the course lessons, you will move on to a final certification project. After successful completion of the project, you’ll be an Official Anaplanner!

Updated weekly on Fridays - pulls info into other systems on Mondays Salesforce info: This report sets up entities (all folks that have done training should roll up) - match email domains from companies to allow roll ups. Run report to update and then export details into csv file. Learning Center: Access My Reports tab Select the "Completion Reports" From the bottom right, View Saved searches: Completed Records All Time (make mental note of how many pages of records there are - should have increased from last week's report) Export csv (takes a while to download) Go into Official Anaplanners v2 model from the Anaplan Operations workspace Open Contents panel: Staging dashboard Update the date with today’s date Import Entities (Salesforce report) - select and Run/Close/Refresh Dashboard Import People and Records (Learning Center report - twice same file for both locations) First L3 People; Countries, then L4 Records (same file for both locations) - RUN Don't worry about the fails, Refresh Dashboard again Pulls out email domains it doesn't know how to tie to a company Copy and search in SF to see if we can find out the domain Enter "Unknown in SFDC" if domain is not found List as Prospect (Type Prospect/Partner in Sf Type:) Once all email domains are updated, click the Refresh Entitiy button
Summary: Good Anaplan Connect scripts can be hard to create, especially if you don’t know anything about scripting or programming. This course walks you through the use of the unofficial Anaplan Connect Wizard which helps automate the script writing process.

Install the Anaplan Connect Wizard on your computer
Create basic scripts using the Anaplan Connect Wizard
Use the Anaplan Connect Wizard to import data from an outside source into Anaplan
Get additional information from the Data Integration Community and Anapedia
