Level 2 Sprint 3 INV01 Beginning Inventory

Please refer my Screenshots. I am unable to deduce why except for week 1 , no other cells are getting populated when I use the formula "IF 'SYS01 Time Settings By Week'.'NOT First Week of Timescale?' THEN PREVIOUS(Ending Inventory) ELSE 'DAT01 Beginning Inventory'.Beginning Inventory".

Could this be backtracked to something I missed in earlier lessons? Stuck on this for sometime now.

You have just started building the module. You are on a correct track. Don't hesitate and just go ahead with your training modules, you will automatically figure out that how the ending inventory is getting calculated. Also make sure that you follow the training modules precisely.

Hint: you will find all the values in this module itself to calculate the ending inventory.

If you still struggle than we are here to help you out.

@PranayG

This is because your ELSE part of the formula works only for the 1st week of the time scale. For other cells to get populated your Ending Inventory should have some numbers, which is currently Zero in your snip.

I hope it helps

Re: Level 2 Sprint 3 INV01 Beginning Inventory

Thanks Anand, for the quick revert. I am still having issue understanding where the ending inventory is picking it's number. Is there anything from your experience that a novice modeller could have missed? OR is there any other information I can share here, which can find the root cause?
