Same code at different levels of list hierarchies

Hi,

I got a metadata dataset for the charter of accounts that uses the same code sometimes at different levels of the hierarchy. Although this is possible/works when creating in Anaplan for both Numbered and regular lists - should I avoid it and maybe create an additional import action that creates a unique code of duplicates in Anaplan, all the while the client can continue with same files and codes as they are used to?
