Spring Board UI/ Anaplan's New UX

Hello Experts,

Is there any document or way to create the dashboards from multiple models in single page in Spring Board UI?

Kindly share your valuable thoughts here.

Thanks

  • Hi Sasikanth,

We can only use one model per page while creating page elements/cards.

If you must have noticed while creating pages, we select the model and the workspace for which we want to create a page.

However, we can have multiple pages from multiple models and can link it accordingly using 'link to a page' section

  • Hi Akhil,

Yes, even I've also observed this while creating the page that we can select only one model.... Thanks for the information but still what If we can have this kind of scenario to build the page?

    Thanks

  • Hi Sasikanth,

A very valid requirement. The best option is to have multiple pages out of 'n' number of models and in each page have a card which will link to other pages. If you edit any card (be it Grid/Chart/text/KPI), you will see this option 'Link to a Page'. So you can play with this and link any other page. By default only one page opens up in the new UI and you can drill down from top or use back to return to the original page.

    Thanks

  • Hi Akhil,

Thanks for the Info, I have one more question. How do we publish selected line items & page selectors to dashboard in Springboard UI?

    Regards

    SK

  • Hi,

The new UX handles selectors differently.  Module Views are modeled in Anaplan and made available in the new UX for building out Worksheets and Boards. The publishing of individual selectors and line items isn’t available today but the new UX is being updated constantly so stay tuned.  Given that views are the basis of a build consider carefully specific Views that contain the data, Line Items and Lists required for analyzing the data.  Line Items and Lists can be available as selectors if they are in the Pages section of the Pivot view.  So again its key to design the view with the end presentation in mind. Alternatively, a builder may be able to utilize linked Cards and the Insight panel to achieve similar functionality.

  • Hello Dave/Experts,

I totally understand those Page Selector and Line Item Selection options are not available in New Springboard UI, how about the button creation and Inputting the values in the dashboard in New UX?

And could you also please let us know when can we all expect these options to be available in the later version of UX. because currently we are working on this kind of requirement to our pages in New UX.

    Thanks
