Stacked chart line item preference?

When creating a stacked chart I am unable to get the series vs data in the right "order". I think it is because the stacked chart defaults to including the line items as the series, regardless of the pivot?

I.e. I have a module (actually a saved view) where the "versions" are line items (as columns) and product parents are pivoted to be in the rows (the products are a list). Regardless of how I pivot the stacked chart has the line items as the series an the products (list) as the data values (i.e. the bars) in the chart.
