User - access

Hi,

I have created a simple timesheet module within Anaplan so that employees can enter time against products/projects.  Essentially, each employee will go and enter their time against their own name.

In my Employees list, I have enabled selective access.  In the Users settings, I can specify who the employees can write against.  However, I've got close to 300 employees.  Is there a quick way to do this without going through each employee line by line in the Users setting? perhaps create a new module?

Appreciate the help,

Belinda

Re: User - access

Hello,

There is a pretty decent training here:

https://community.anaplan.com/t5/On-Demand-Courses/Automating-User-Access/ta-p/54523

But everything depends on how you can source the access-requirements. So difficult to say based on your info...

All the best,
Maarten.

Hi @CommunityMember113484 ,

Instead of using Selective access , you can use DCA.

To use DCA create a module with user list and products/projects list and use a Boolean line item. This Boolean can be used as the access driver. You can also a look at the below post as well

Cheers,
