We successfully released the phase 3 of Excel Add-in 4.0, when all users were notified of the new version.
We've released Excel Add-in 4.1 and PowerPoint Add-in 1.7 with self-service SAML compatibility. We are still in phase 1, where the add-ins are available for download through the feedback group. Learn more on our Excel and PowerPoint Add-ins version information pages.
We ended the support of Office 2010. Don't worry: if you use Office 2010, you can carry on using the add-ins, but no further development will be done to support this version of Microsoft Office.

We have updated our release information page above based on feedback from a survey, in particular detailing the different phases of the release as well as giving target dates (subject to changes). Overall, the feedback about our phased release approach has been very positive, with customers saying they felt their voice was heard by the development team and their issues were resolved much faster.

End-User Tips and Tricks
Did you upgrade to Excel Add-in 4.0 and want to go back to 3.4? Don't worry if you have converted your workbook, you can find a back-up copy compatible with 3.4 in your file folder. Uninstall 4.0, re-install 3.4 and use this back-up file in 3.4. All smooth!
Model Builder Corner
Did you upgrade to 4.1 and want to go back to 4.0? Don't worry, all files used in 4.1 are compatible with 4.0, so just uninstall 4.1, re-install 4.0 and keep going with the same file. This is the benefit of the file compatibility within a major version that we have introduced in the 4 series! For more details, refer to our governance best practices before upgrading.
