Ability to copy a List

There are occasions when I need to have a list that is similar in structure or content but serves a different purpose in the application or where I need to have different children but similar parents in the same module. In this case my only options are to export the data, create a new list and add the properties and re-import the data. I would like to be able to copy the list in its entirety. Ideally being able to choose whether to copy any children of the list as well. We can copy dashboards and modules but not lists.
