Add search function to dashboard for all dashboard elements

Description of the enhancement required:

Add search function to dashboard for all dashboard elements, or allow for admins to make the search toolbar in each module to appear after published to the dashboard. Basically, be able to put a search bar on the dashboard. 

An example of the enhancement:
Two possible solutions below, and both would have different uses.

Option A would work the same as "Publish Page Selectors" (across all published items), Option B would work the same as the native search bar (on a specific published module) and both or either would be great.

Option A) Add a search bar to dashboard, that would search across all lists published to the dashboard; and all lists that have "Synchronize Selection" enabled would filter?

Option Add the ability to Enable "Show Search Bar" for each published module. Similar to "Show Module Name" (see below). This would put a search bar in the module header, and the search would work the same as the native search bar.

A story for why you want the enhancement:
The main issue with the current search bar is that it is not intuitive to find. i.e. end users don't use it, and searching especially on long lists is a great feature.
