I would like to suggest the idea of enabling Text messages to mobile by Anaplan for any Anaplan service notifications.
This enables a faster response time to let business know in case of any unseen Anaplan outages and also provide the ability to quickly mitigate any downside impacts to other process.
I agree, this would be very useful for sales reps and workflow projects.
Text status updates are currently available today. You can even choose which types of outages you get a notification for.
To set them up, visit status.anaplan.com and click "Subscribe to Updates" you can choose email or text. It's just a little deceiving because the icon to receive text messages is a telephone and the icon that looks like it would be for texts links you to the Anaplan support page.
