As a model builder, I need to be able to easily apply Anaplan best practices such as assigning a functional area and providing a brief description of the purpose of my newly created module so my model is auditable and it is easy for other model builders to work on it in the future.
Currently, we allow model builders to create a module by defining the name, dimensions, and line items then we take them to the module view. Adding a functional area or notes become secondary when and if the model builder remembers to go back to the module list and populate this data.
Instead, we should allow the model builders to enter a functional area and/or notes in the same dialogue box used to add the module name and dimensions. This way we increase model builder adoption to implement best practices and ultimately create more organized and auditable models
