New UX Data Labels unit change

I would like to be able to change the data labels from units to $k or $m in the new UX charts...

The scale on the axis changes but the data labels remain as units .....I dont want to have to create new modules and line items for each of these we would like to chart. Is there any plan to create this ability to customise data labels or at least align with axis scale units
