Model fails to Open with a date or time period related error

This item has been identified as an outstanding known issue. 

Issue

Models may fail to open intermittently, with the error:

 

 

"End date for a date time entity is not supported"

 

 

or

 

"Invalid Month period for Calendar Months/Quarters/Years offset calculation"

 

 

If this occurs, please navigate to Model Management and close any open models from the Manage Tasks tab. After 2 minutes, attempt to open the model again. If the issue persists please contact Support at support@anaplan.com.

A fix for this issue was released during the downtime window on April 24th 2021.
