It's only fair of me to be the one to kick things off!
I serve on the Anaplan Community team as the User Groups Program Manager. I've been in this role for a little over one year, and at Anaplan since February 2018. Before that, I worked in media and content creation for a variety of non-profit and broadcast organizations.
What brought you here: I came to Anaplan as part of a career shift and have been incredibly thankful to work with a terrific team at such a supportive company. Watching the Community grow and thrive is exciting, and it's why I'm here.
What you hope to learn: I always learn new things watching others share their knowledge and insights as they progress on their journeys with Anaplan.
Where you are in the world: a small suburb outside of Minneapolis, MN.
Favorite vacation destination: the Pacific Northwest has a little bit of everything I like—mountains, beaches, good food, and more.
Favorite beverage: Coffee all morning and a good beer or G&T at happy hour.
What brought you here: I am a specialist/consultant in supply chain management. I ran in to Anaplan and think there must be a lot of potential in my spreadsheet driven world. Focus is not building models, but helping to develop solutions that work.
What you hope to learn: How can Anaplan models support supply chain processes and new solutions like Demand Driven SC.
Where you are in the world: Belgium
Favorite vacation destination: La Palma (Canaries)
Favorite hobbies: long walks with my dogs and my garden
Guido De Gols Business Coach Supply Chain Management
Hi Guido! I love the idea of focusing on the solution over the process or problem.
You may be interested in joining our Supply Chain User Group. It's relatively new and is still building momentum, but you may find it helpful to connect with other Supply Chain-focused people. There are several Master Anaplanners and some of Anaplan's internal Supply Chain solutions pros in there who can help with questions. Feel free to post in the forum there any time!
What a great way to break the ice "online". Thanks @AaronW
I have been using Anaplan for about 2 years. I used to work in Anaplan then switched to work on Anaplan implementation.
My background is a mix of Technology and Finance, Anaplan ties my experiences beautifully together.
What brought me here: I am here to pay it forward and help those who are starting their Anaplan journey. A more selfish reason is to learn new things about Anaplan and stay engaged with the platform and the people.
Where am I in the world: In Manhattan/ New York, hunkering down in my apartment waiting for this pandemic dark cloud to pass.
Favorite Vacation: Any place with a nice beach, the Bahamas and the Mediterranean North Coast in Egypt are at the top of my list.
Favorite Drink: Sparkling water. You will never see me walking around without a bottle or a can in my hand. it's a curse 😊
As I mentioned above and in a previous post, I am here to lend a helping hand so if you have any questions please reach out to me.

That's fantastic! We all have something to learn, no matter how much we already know. And giving back what we do know is indeed a great way to pay it forward—what a terrific outlook. Happy to have you here!
