Model Concurrency Testing is a specialist service that Anaplan provides to enable the performance of models being used concurrently to be accurately evaluated before the model enters the UAT phase.

The definition of concurrent model usage is more than 1 user performing the same defined series of events on a model, at the same time. The actions that multiple users will be performing at the same time are translated into tests which simulate the expected concurrent usage of the model (number of concurrent users, user model interactions and the speed/frequency of user model interactions).

Typical daily usage and peak usage periods, such as month end can be tested to give confidence that the model performance will meet/exceed expectations.

When the testing is completed, a report will be generated, which becomes a key input into project decision making.
