Part of the Introduction stage should include a department overview with your manager. It's easy to incorporate this into an already scheduled call or 1:1 meeting. We've included some topics to discuss and questions to ask below.   Topics: The Workday Org Chart Our Team: How is our team organized? Are we all local? When and how does our team meet?  What are some of the specializations in our immediate team? Where do we sit in the larger organization? First degree teams: Which teams do we interact with all the time (daily, weekly)? Are there teams that do our same job, but in another region? Second degree teams: Which teams do we interact with some times (monthly, quarterly)? Support teams: Which teams are there to help us get our job done?

Find Your Desk and Greet Your Neighbors Welcome to Anaplan! Once you've found your assigned desk/area, make yourself at home! Greet your desk neighbors, introduce yourself and tell them about your role at Anaplan. Your desk should have at least a monitor, keyboard and mouse for your daily use.  As you get settled in, you'll likely need some office supplies. Make note of your nearest copier/printer and supply closet nearby.  PRO TIP: Search for the relevant Slack channel(s) for your office (i.e. #office-sf-and-social or #office-mpls) and join the conversation! It's time to start your Anaplan training journey! Completing Your Benefits Elections (US Full-Time Employees)   Step 1: Update your personal information in Workday. It will be fed into the PlanSource benefits portal that evening.   Step 2: You will receive an email (following your completion of Workday onboarding tasks) to your personal email address from PlanSource to log in and elect your desired benefits.   You will have 30 days from your first day to elect your desired benefits. The effective date of benefits will be retro-active to your first day of employment.   Contact: benefits@anaplan.com   You can review the US Benefits by selecting the ‘Benefits Information’ Worklet in Workday.

Workday is our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and your employment data's source of truth.  It's important to finish all onboarding tasks in Workday by the end of your first day at Anaplan.   To access Workday, log into Okta (anaplan.okta.com) and click the Workday tile.   ID Change  Edit Government IDs Select ✚ under National IDs and select country Enter Government-Issued Personal ID Type & Number (SSN, TIN, etc.) No Other Information is Required Select Submit   Update Your Personal Information   Required: Legal Name/Preferred Name Home Address / Contact Info Gender DOB When done, click Submit   Additional Onboarding Tasks Complete I-9 Form:  You’ll need to complete your part, and then have HR verify your I-9 documents Federal Withholding Elections (W-4) State Tax Elections (where applicable) ADP Direct Deposit (including voided check) Review Documents – Handbook & Policies Add a Photo (people directory) Add Emergency Contacts

Anaplan uses Outlook for all email communications.  It can be accessed via Okta, through the Outlook desktop client (preferred), or on your mobile device.     Via Okta You can access the web version of Outlook via Okta as follows: Log into Okta (anaplan.okta.com) Enter your username (your Anaplan email) and Okta password Click on the Outlook tile You'll be taken to the Outlook web application    Set Up & Access the Outlook Desktop Application (Preferred) Outlook's best functionality is captured in the desktop application.  This is already installed on your laptop and integrates with our SSO - you just need to sign in and make a couple of choices, and then you'll be on your way! From your desktop dock, select the Outlook icon Click Get Started Click Sign In Enter your new Anaplan email, formatted as firstname.lastname@anaplan.com Enter your Username, which is your Anaplan email address Enter your Okta password Choose between the Colorful or Classic themes Click Start Using Outlook Click Add (your email) Click Done Once you are in Outlook, make sure to set up your Outlook signature.     Set up & Access the Outlook Apps for Mobile Android devices COMING SOON! Zoom is our video communication tool of choice. If you're unfamiliar with Zoom, we suggest you watch   this quick overview (0:37).    You may find the following articles helpful. Zoom Meetings: Get the basics. Zoom Rooms: Many of our conference rooms in our offices are setup as Zoom Rooms. This means that they're equipped with an iPad to control the session as well as integrated audio and video. If you're booking a room, you may see a "Z" in the room description. This tells you it's a Zoom room. (Note: You can use any meeting room with Zoom, but you'd need to run the conference through your laptop and/or telephone rather than the integrated system) Personal Meeting ID: Did you notice some people have cool Zoom links with their names instead of a random number?
