New Modeling Experience is live: The New Modeling Experience is available for all customers. You can now choose to open models in the new experience via a toggle on the Home page or continue to use the Classic experience. Click here for a short demo video.
Model builders can access new capabilities in the New Modeling Experience, such as a formula editor and fast access to modeling screens to improve productivity.
End users will experience a new look and feel for smoother navigation and faster access to the information they need most from models.
App-level page access control: There are now more ways to view and manage page access configurations for all pages in an app within a single experience. This speeds productivity and reduces the time it takes to restrict access to pages. It also provides greater visibility into all restrictions applied across the app.
Chart setting updates: Model builders can now change the label and axis colors on charts, allowing for increased flexibility and customization.
Resizing nested columns: Resize nested columns on a grid. Users can resize the column widths in design mode and save the format as part of the page. See example video below for more details:
Mobile push notifications:Receive a notification from the Anaplan app on your mobile or tablet device when you have been tagged in a comment, so you can ensure you’re pulled in to the decision-making process wherever you are.
Interacting with charts on mobile from the board: Following the release of board-level editing for field cards, you can now select data points on KPI sparklines, choose which series to show on charts on the fly, and pinch and zoom to view charts in detail without maximizing the card.
Slack notifications: Stay in the know with Slack notifications for when a page is shared with you or you’re mentioned in a comment.
Comment deletion: Delete comments on cards to make sure the latest information is reflected.
Sharing with context: Share pages with context to help colleagues pinpoint the information they need.
Central Identity Management User Admin role is live: User Admins can now create, add, and remove users to and from workspaces through the Administration console. Workspace Admins (WSAs) will still be able to create, add, and remove users in parallel to the User Admin capabilities through a single plane of glass. Read the Community blog for more details.
Anaplan Connect updates: We've refreshed and given Anaplan Connect some added capabilities, including support for our latest set of APIs. Anaplan Connect is flexible with scripts that can be scheduled using either a user’s primary operating system or a third-party system. Read the Community blog for more information.
New Transactional APIs include list and model metadata APIs: The new set of Transactional APIs focuses on the ability to make quick changes to your list items and query detailed properties about your models. With these APIs, customers can select lists at runtime and update them without the need to create Import and Export actions, as well as gain more visibility into their Anaplan models. Read the Community blog for more information.

IE11 and Microsoft Edge Legacy Deprecation
In our commitment at Anaplan to align with industry best practices, we are ending support for Microsoft Edge Legacy and Internet Explorer in 2021. Microsoft has announced end of support for Microsoft Edge Legacy on March 9, 2021 as well as for IE11 with Microsoft 365 products on August 17, 2021. We have made the decision to follow this timeline. Users may continue to use IE11, but any errors logged with support will not be fixed as it is an unsupported browser that will not be updated by Microsoft. We recommend customers adopt a supported browser to receive appropriate updates and maximize the value of their Anaplan activities.
