Updates to the Anaplan Connector for Informatica

Valued Contributor

We’re excited to share that the latest version of the Anaplan Connector for Informatica has been released. This release comes with a series of new enhancements and improvements for more seamless Anaplan integrations with Informatica IICS.

Key improvements to the connector include:

  • Expanded retry logic to retry errors on Anaplan REST API calls
  • The ability to refresh authentication tokens with long running integrations
  • More concise logging within the Informatica Secure Agent
  • Support for file compression when uploading files to Anaplan
  • The ability to download error dump files from processes
  • Fully configurable Anaplan API and authorization URLs (for future use)

Post rollout of this release, some customers are hitting an issue whereby pre-existing jobs, meaning jobs that had been run and existed prior to the release, are failing to run. There is a workaround to this issue here.

For more information, see the Anapedia article or contact your Anaplan representative.

@Rebecca Thanks for posting the link to the workaround. This upgrade, while AMAZING!, did cause a lot of existing jobs to have problems.

Great work - file compression is a big deal - THANK YOU!!
