This release contains enhancements to the Waterfall Chart for improved reporting, keyboard shortcuts for quicker model building, and improvements to the header wrapping in PDF exports. We're also excited to announce the new-look App Hub, complete with twelve intuitive new apps.
In this release, we've improved how you view and configure your Waterfall Charts with two new options - Rotate Axes and Auto Axis. Waterfall Charts can now be pivoted horizontally, making it easier to see small values on the chart.
The Rotate Axes feature allows you to display the bars of the chart horizontally rather than vertically, which can be useful if you have long data labels.
The initial column in a waterfall chart can be considerably larger than the subsequent values, making labels difficult to read and the data difficult to interpret. The Auto Axis feature draws a chart using a modified quantitative axis, to enable you to focus on the values between the initial column and the end total, making it easier to view small numbers on the chart.
App Hub has had a makeover! Check out the clean, modern design - the improved navigation allows you to quickly explore the apps (there's over 100!) and activate the one you want in a single click. Get instant information on each app with the improved content - videos, case studies, and feature details - all there to help you to decide whether it's the right app for you.
We've made some great improvements and additions to the Excel Add-in recently. Among other things, you can now refresh all views in a workbook, map a view to a copy of your model, and sort and filter while selecting pages. We've completely overhauled the look and feel of the Add-in and it's faster than ever before.

Note: Office 2007 is no longer supported by any version of the Excel Add-in.
Security is our top priority. We're committed to delivering robust, security practices and we're pleased to announce that this is now recognized by the SOC 2 Type 2 audit. This audit provides reasonable assurance that our controls in security, availability, and confidentiality are properly designed and operating effectively.
A list of Anaplan system reserved names is now available in Anapedia, together with the rules that will block you from using duplicate names within models. The formatting constraints imposed on names are also documented.
As always, we love to hear your thoughts on the new and amended features in this release. Don't forget, 2016.2 is on the horizon so look out for release notifications from the Product team for details on what's coming in our next platform release. Happy Anaplanning!
