Abinash Nayak

Abinash Nayak joined an Anaplan training program while getting his MBA at Carlson School of Management in MN. Along with a love of the platform, Abinash loved that Anaplan wants to give back to new learners. He saw that Anaplan employees were eager to collaborate with the internship group. The collaboration experience instilled the value of why collaboration is important to a team and a company. And with their support, Abinash became a Certified Model Builder in only four weeks!

Abinash’s future plans include tech, engineering management, and Anaplan. He’s searching for the perfect place to use his new skills.

Ryan Rist

Ryan was introduced to Anaplan through his previous employer, Prudential Financial. After taking Level 1 on-site at the Anaplan NY office, Ryan knew he’d “caught the Anaplan bug” and needed to learn more.

Ryan was eager to be part of a group learning the Anaplan platform; he knew that he and his fellow learners could lean on one another if they struggled with formulas and modules along the way.

Having now achieved his Model Builder Certification, Ryan is now on the path to becoming a Master Anaplanner.

Ryan uses his Anaplan skills in his senior Analyst role at Goldman Sachs.

For Anna, it was probably fated that she dip her toes into the Anaplan platform. Her mother, an Account Executive at Anaplan, referred her to the Connected Planning Internship. While 2020 had some plans of its own, and the internship had to be postponed, Anna didn’t let this stop her. She quickly joined the Talent Builder Bootcamp to complete her training, becoming a Certified Model Builder.

Like the internship she’d intended to join, Anna’s first full-time offer was also a victim of the changes of the year, but, again, Anna persevered. She applied for and was hired as a Sales Ops Analyst at Splunk. Though Splunk was looking for someone with at least 4 years of job experience (which new-grad Anna didn’t have), they saw the value in an applicant with the tenacity to complete her certification despite the challenges of the year.

Anna’s next goal is to continue her training and work toward becoming a Master Anaplanner.
