Hey - Rather than using the select function can you try this: directly reference the line item you are trying to grab without the Select included. By nature it should grab the top level and naturally should aggregate just the subset totals. I did so using an example in my model and it worked as expected.

Hey Catheline - There's not currently a way to see which line items/saved views are used in new UX dashboards. Create a system module (with #promotion flat as a dimension) with a line item called "count" and a formula of just "1". Create a second module which is a "totals module" (without #promotion flat as a dimension). In the totals module create a line item called count that directly references the system module (system module.count). It should naturally grab the top level.

Yes you may want to as mentioned above check the mapping of the action under "source label" and if needed to repoint the model go to "source model" under settings and edit the mapping. Have you also checked (assuming there are jobs running) the model/WS IDs against the model you are referencing?

Hi, yes by adding the user dimension to your first module (the selection module), and also including the user dimension in your second module (the output module), it will allow the selections to be dynamic by user, so sounds like you were on the right track. You may also want to, assuming there are multiple line items in your output module, only keep the user list in the applies to for the line items relevant to calculation, so the "values" line item in this case but if you have other property driver ones, that don't need to be dynamic by user, you can remove the applies to for those ones.

Hi Fredrick, Not the create action itself, but you can either add a form or create a process that has an import action within it to add items to the numbered list. For the forms, those can be configured directly on boards by publishing an action card to a board then going to "configure worksheet actions" in the upper right corner, then "forms" then "create a form".

Hi, have you looked at the timesum formula, ie. create a boolean line item where formula is timesum("value based line item")>0. You can remove the time dimension for the line item as it's not applicable for this formula.

Hey - changing your default settings should correct: Assuming you have windows go to: Windows Settings --> Apps --> Default Apps --> Email. Change to "Outlook". Then it should recognize that by default.

Hey - Are you noticing the same even when you remove the DCA? I was able to replicate but seems related to the selective access - it can be restricted at the line item level or disabled (using the selective access checkbox in the line item settings) in the existing UX, however when you publish the module to the new UX the selective access becomes restrictive at the line item level regardless. Is that the same as what you are noticing? Thanks. JT

Hi - In the Set Operation line, right after the line: -Process "Test Export" -execute you should add in the following syntax: -file "1.1 P&L OPEX Buckets - Month". That way it knows what downloaded file to look for from your model. Hi - As an option could you: 1. Add a boolean formatted line item called "Current Employee?" to the PK L3 module. Have this updated by the master data source during import or derive using logic (I'm assuming there should be a way to flag these). 2. Apply a filter to the PK L3 module that filters out anything not current employee. 3. Disable access in the dashboard for them to disable the filter (as an extra precaution). That will take care of visibility to current employees. You can also consider using DCA, ie creating an access module (call it "AD01 by employee" and add employee list as a dimension). Assign write access only to employees with boolean of not current employees and read only access to those with boolean of current employees (reference the PK L3 module flag line item). That way they are truly not editable in the source module so you can filter out, or expose but the restriction is in place. Let me know if this helps solve. JT

Hi - Have you tried introducing currency as a dimension in the target module? It looks as if it is ignoring it because the mapping is based off uniqueness of product/customer/time intersections whereas currency is being used as a property.

Have you looked into the "Forms" functionality? If you add a card of type "Action", and then select the "forms" option it allows you to add items to a list using a form type setup. Also as an alternative to the form, a process can be created to add items to a list and that published to the dashboard. For the delete functionality, while there is not an explicit option, you can create a boolean line item called "Delete" in a grid you have published, then create a process to delete if the boolean is checked, and publish that as an action on the grid. Hi - you can accomplish this by publishing one grid with the parent list as a dimension and second grid with the child list as a dimension. For the child grid under card designer under Rows activate the hierarchy filter (button underneath list). That will synchronize with the parent module moving forward. Below is an example where I have done so with cost centers rolling up to departments. Hope this helps. -Jt

Hey Mark, Just wanted to confirm that when you tested this with the example batch script you: 1. Updated the anaplan connect script according to the below starting with line 13 - this is pushing the directory and then adding popd to the pause line. 2. Created the shortcut and updated the start in path. It looks like you are using the A Drive as the network drive. Do you mind pasting the piece of your screenshot of your connect script highlighting the above? Apologies if you already went through all these steps, just trying to eliminate possibilities. Hey Nayeem - Can you change the setting for end of fiscal year to Sat nearest end of Dec (it is the bubble below your current selection)? The issue is that if you use last Sat in Dec it will use the week starting of 12/20/2020 as the last week instead of week starting 12/27/2020 which will give you 53 weeks. I just want to mention that as with any time setting change, you need to be careful of data loss before you make the change and also confirm that this calendar alignment works for your reporting needs. @sprender Is there a way to synchronize with the parent level based on the item you are creating? (ie the cost center you are adding the item in would synch with the worksheet page selector). In the current UX we can publish a grid at the top (with parent list dimension), then + item, and the synchronization is already in place.

Hi - go into the line item settings for comments and go to the "Use Switchover" and uncheck it. This will allow you to provide comments for periods which may already be locked down based on the switchover settings. Hope this helps. Jt

Hi, are you using a numbered list? Also can you use the material number as a unique ID? Assuming so, in your first import add the material numbers as a list (you should only need to map the material number column at first). Second, create a module called "Data: Material properties" and add a line item for material description and import the same file into the module using the material number as the mapping property. Then add a property to your numbered list which is Display name and which is text formatted. Have that reference your module line item (material description). This will allow you to have the same description in multiple instances. Let me know if this helps. Jt

Exporting as a CSV will open with worksheet and tab name aligned to the module name. Then you can save it as an Excel. Hopefully that works. It looks like excel by default opens up with the Sheet 1 convention you mentioned.
