Actually, all you would need, is the ability to "connect" existing grids along an axis (rows or columns).  You would need a "Select leading grid" for rows and for columns, which  1) activates synced scrolling of that axis.  2) option to hide header of an axis   If you separate 2) as an independet option, you could even allow for synched scrolling of grids below each other, or allow for intermediate repetition of headers, if needed.   The scroll sync would be a nice feature for worksheets with a second grid selected below the primary one, as well.
