Here is a solution to update the formats using the import process to a module, using a coded flat list and custom mapping the date format to Anaplan, based on the date format in the Import File. I have attached a file with screen shots to give a visual representation of the steps below. 1) Create a Flat List that you will import as Code:Code to reference in the Module you wish to import, if a specific list is already in place you are using to Reference the date, ignore this step and Apply the List to the Module you desire to change the date formats to. 2) Create a Module using the Specific List in Step 1 in the Applies to, and have your date(s) as line items for the import, Formatted as "Date" 3) Import the Data using your CSV file or TXT file, by selecting Data > Import > Upload New File > Select File then map the Column with the Date in your file to the Line Item Formatted as "Date" in your Module. 4) MAPPING: Map your Source Code to the File's Column containing the Code, and your Date Format to the Column(s) containing the Dates, or in this case "Column Headers" 5) FLAT LIST MAPPING: If your codes are mapped correctly, they will be automatically mapped to to the File as they are coded in the Flat List 6) MODULE LINE ITEM MAPPING: When you map your Line Items, there will be an option for "Custom Mapping" in the Boolean selection to the right of the Target Items; Check the box and custom map your date formats. 7) CUSTOM MAPPING: Select the Format of the Input, and Anaplan will automatically recognize the format to map for the import as shown below in each Date Format Type: 😎 Import the data into the module and recognize the format of the Date is automatically changed to the standard date format.
