@jziemer  Julie, love your story!  I had a similar experience, but had green ledger paper and toted my friend's Mac Plus to the library to write my law school papers.  After several years in CPA and law firms, I put my career on hold for a while.  When I came back, I ended up in a job that provided little opportunity for problem solving or creativity.  While I love working with my clients and mastering new spreadsheet skills, the data scrubbing and manipulation just doesn't provide much of a challenge.  Enter Anaplan.  I heard about its flexibility from a recent graduate who is a model builder.  I decided to do some research thinking I might want to buy a few shares as an investment.  Then I saw the Anaplan Academy and started working on the lessons to see what it could do. I never thought it would be so much fun!  I wondered if I was wasting my time and should take up sewing instead, but hearing your story helped put that nagging feeling to rest.  Learning new software is not just for Millenials.  I'm very hopeful that a spreadsheet geek like myself, who loves bringing dynamic solutions to clients, will find Anaplan is a great tool to help me make a mid(?)-career pivot into the SaaS world. ...
