Main Job Purpose:
A growing global biotechnology firm is looking for a Anaplan Data Hub Engineer with 5 years experience in the IS industry supporting cloud based platforms and applications.
* Extracts data from various databases; perform exploratory data analysis, cleanses, massages, and aggregates data.
* Employs scaling & automation to data preparation techniques - Introduces incremental improvements to data analysis, visualization, and presentation techniques to communicate discoveries.
* Derive features based on the data exploration and analysis.
* Researches relevant emerging empirical methods and quantitative tools
* Possesses in-depth business knowledge to initiate and drive discussions with business partners to identify business issues needing analytic solutions
* Provide technical recommendations to project teams or work space admins.
* Leads innovative packaging and presentation of insights to customers and Anaplan team
* Develops processes to automate and scale insights operationalization
The position will report to the Global Anaplan Platform Owner will work closely with global business and IS stakeholders on Anaplan datahub request.
Requirements and Skill:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* 2+ Years of Life Sciences
* 5+ years of relevant work experience within information technology
* Cloud solution implementation experience with GCP.
* Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with SQL
* 1-2 years of experience in scripting languages such as Python, R
* Demonstrated experience in a cloud-based -computing environment.
* Experience managing numerous projects and request simultaneously
* Proven experience translating complex issues into simplified manageable steps or milestones.

This detail-oriented, highly analytical and financially focused individual is responsible for owning, maintaining, and updating the spend analysis model for the Shared Services Group at Varsity Brands. This includes adding new users, creating new views and exporting data. On a monthly basis, the Financial Systems Analyst will refresh data from source systems by collecting, transforming and loading flat files from each business division. Daily work involves the maintenance and optimization of chart of accounts, partnering with the divisional finance teams to rationalize accounts and maintaining the map of accounts to the cost category taxonomy. The role also consists of identifying and delivering new use cases and working with the finance and business stakeholders to determine opportunities for leveraging Anaplan, such as financial consolidation, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting. The Financial Systems Analyst will strive to identify process improvements and automate processes where applicable to create efficiencies.
3+ years consulting/implementation experience with multi-dimensional systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion, Business Objects, TM1 etc.
2+ years of Budgeting and Forecasting and Financial Planning consulting or corporate experience. Excellent understanding of accounting fundamentals (income statement, balance sheet, cash flows).
1+ year of experience designing and/or developing Anaplan solutions.
Strong understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound) and good understanding of typical data sources such as ERP solutions. Experience using Alteryx or other enterprise ETL tools.
Subject matter expert in financial management systems, including financial modeling expertise.
Advanced Excel skills, including ability to translate model building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or other applicable majors
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or other applicable majors.
