Hi,   Before we talk about the solution, i do want to talk about 'In Anaplan, just because you can, doesn't mean you should'.   All of us love Anaplan, because it's super flexible and we feel empowered. But we must realize that Text must ONLY be used where ABSOLUTELY NEEDED, and not as a means to capture everything from the source system (at least i think that's why you did what you did). Text takes up a lot of workspace, and it consumed a lot of server overhead in the background, dragging the overall performance of your model.   Please talk to whoever needed, be it the Database folks or the business users to make sure the source is number formatted before sending it over to Anaplan. I might be wrong in my assumption, and please correct me if i'm wrong by providing more context. Do explain the above effects to the client.   Having said that, please see if the following works. Hi Gregory,    Is always tricky when you need to pivot the months..Usually to me happened the other way around: I sometimes receive source files with the columns as Months.. 🙂 However, you can achieve what you need, but in more steps:   1. Import the source file in a temporary module using a numbered list where all your source column will be line items 2. In the new module create a line item "Year" with the formula      Year Sales = Left(Sales Month, 4) 3. Create another 12 new line items formatted as number for the months with formulas like this:    Jan = if right(Sales Month, "01") then Sales Quantity else 0    Feb = if right(Sales Month, "02") then Sales Quantity else 0    Mar = if right(Sales Month, "03") then Sales Quantity else 0 .....    Dec = if right(Sales Month, "12") then Sales Quantity else 0 4. Now you are able to import the data in your target layout Create a saved view within this module and create an action to import your data into your target using the new line-items   Your target module need to have lists: Product, Year and 12 line items as months   Hope this help! ciao Alex ... Hi,   Do see if the following time dependent Sales to Plan relationships shown below works for you. The 'Plan' formatted list is a field you can assign to different Sales at different point of time. To prevent yourself from entering new/old Plan ID every month, you can use the formula shown below to update itself with previous Plan ID unless there's a change in this month's Plan ID. Then subsequent modules can refer to 'Plan ID (Final)' for an up to date Sales-Plan assignment.     Another observation i made is that you use 'Plan ID' as the Code of Sales ID. I would strongly suggest against it, because we should use CODE the way it's intended, i.e. as a unique alphanumeric texts to identify the particular list member, so that Inbound/ Outbound integration is made easier. Nice, Simple and sleek. My two cents,  I would look for options to prevent additional setups/inputs from the user, if it is acceptable to business, then to calculate the phasing from the lease start month, I would try to do that. For eg, Monthly does not need an input.  As well, Annual could be the month(lease_start), six month could be month(lease start), month(lease start)+6..something like that.. Hi,   @sandeep_bk is right, everytime you create a new line item that you want to import to, you can reuse the existing import action but you do need to remap by doing 'edit --> Line item tab'.   Another thing that i would like to point out is that it's not best practice to have subsidiary views for input fields. Ideally all the line items would have the same lists combination as the module, but it's very hard to do so for calculation line items.   However we should build a separate module for input line items which share the same lists combination. Off the top of my head, one reason i can think of why this is a bad idea is the severe limitation of Filtering. Hi,   I'll expand further on my previous 'Quick Filter' comment.   Create a module 'Store Properties' with 'Store' as list, and 2 line items of 'Store Type' and 'Location'. Note that the 'Store Type' and 'Location' are also of 'Store Type' list format, and 'Location' list format. Create a module 'Store Sales' with 'Store' as list, and any monthly value line items that you want to analyse. I have created 3, i.e. Sales, Foot Traffic, Rent for illustration purpose. Create a dashboard combining the 2 modules above. To do what you want, you can first do a quick filter. Note that the 'Quick Filter' only shows what's available in the current column, i.e Type C is not an available option in the Quick Filter, though it's a member in the 'Store Type' list i created. After doing a quick filter, you can click on either Store 1 or Store 3 to analyse their monthly values. Do turn on 'Synchronize Paging' for the 'Store Sales' module.   Thanks, LipChean ... View more
