I am thrilled to share with you the release of the registration for the Anaplan Community Experience! This event, lead by the Community Team is dedicated to our Community !

The 9th and 10th of November, attend sessions including "What's New in the Product", "Customer Journeys", "Cross-Persona Collaboration", and main stage presentations and networking opportunities.

All the presentation are run by customer with the Anaplan OEG team, the finest of the finest Anaplanners.

My name is Sylvain Armand, and I am the new Global Program Manager for the User Groups Program. I am part of the Anaplan journey for the last 3,5 years as a Customer Success Business Partner, working closely with customers every days. As my name can suggest, I am based in EMEA.

Program status : We had a pause in the program the last months due the situation and it will be back to normal soon, even if it will progress at the same time as I ramp up.

What you can expect in the coming Month :

• Over this summer, we will redefine the strategy and the goals of the program
• I am currently connecting with User Group Leaders to understand the status of each group and how we can better support you by setting set up the most relevant actions
• I will publish regularly some news about the program

Wanted to drop a quick note to remind you that Anaplan Live! is next month and registration is active! 

This is a great opportunity to understand what has been solved with Anaplan and how companies see themselves continuing to use the tool in the future.

The sessions aren't too long and are spread between two days (November 9th and 10th).  As with most Anaplan events,  this is a great chance to learn how other teams have solved key issues in their business model. 

KEY RECOMMENDATION: the interactive sessions are great for any level of model builder.

Wanted to do an appreciation post for images in the UX.  With a new update of URLs being integrated into the UX platform, I figured it would be a good time to talk about maybe some best practices with using images in Anaplan.  What I love about this new URL integration is that it works great when it's just to add a pop to a page -- especially if you're in an ALM environment (No revision tag necessary!).  

However, I would say that using a module with the URL link is probably more efficient in the long run if the image is going to be re-used throughout the App -- unless you're some sort of savant who know the URLS for all your links in Imgur (which seems to be the preferred means of creating URLs when not working with an IT department).

One thing that usually is a total "Wow-Moment" for me is when I've been able to incorporate dynamic images.  If you can create URLs for each item in a product hierarchy, or for every department in a department hierarchy, it can really add a personalized touch that makes someone in my audience more engaged.

Anyone else have some best practices that they utilize with Images in Anaplan?
