Can please explain why we create a general list ,a module, and Action ,and what purpose each one serves.🙂
Hello ,
In simple terms , list is what we call the library where a list signifies a collection of related items which signify an entity for a model (for example - employee name , region, customers etc)
Module is a native feature of Anaplan which is the engine or a building block for an Anaplan model , module is created using lists as dimensions and we create line item in order to create intersection or hold the data . A module is essentially say how we use the lists and add line items to enter formulae and get the results.
An action as the name suggests is an Anaplan functionality which is used to load data into Anaplan either from external source (import) or from within the model , so action is basically a feature which allows users to click a button which can be published on a page which instructs to perform certain tasks.
Thank you 🙂
Hello team, I am logging into Anaplan through SSO. I would like to create a batch script to import a file into Anaplan. For the Spoke model, I would like to run an process via a batch script to import data from the Data Hub. Can anyone provide me script for both the condition.

I have to transform the data so there are rows to cover each period in the upload data form, but I am wondering if there is a better way to just import the data as is with the months in the columns. please let me know what you think. thank you,
Hello, I am receiving an 'Anaplan Upload Failed' Status Description when testing my integration with a Big Query dataset. The integration imports data from BQ to our Anaplan model. No other details given in the error log. I suspect that Cloudworks is not even picking up the file but am not sure what we did wrong on the set…
