Is there a workaround for Select function

Hi Anaplanners,

I have a build where I want to capture for a missing mapping for those 2 input line item. This module is dimensioned by a chart of account list and it is not a hierarchy list but a flat list set up as a hierarchy.

I would like to capture if there is any missing mapping for all the list item that rolls up to Total P&L

I try to capture the missing mapping for the Total P&L and if there isn't any then it should be 0 else 1 But the module is flagging for the other GL items that are not roll ups to Total P&L are being flagged.

When I use Look up function it does capture for other GL's, but I can only achieve this when I use the [SELECT : Total P&L] function. I want to make the GL list to production list so the Select function won't work.

Is there a way that I can achieve this without using the select function? any workaround to achieving this? please your recommendation will be very helpful.

You can create a line item in a lookup module (with no dimension).

Line Item format will be list

Use FINDITEM function to derive Total P&L Item.

Use this line item as LOOKUP.
