Summary: A subsidiary view is a line item that contains different dimensions from the module in which it resides. Subsidiary views do not have a large impact on performance, but they can be hard to identify and difficult to locate when working in a model. This lesson reviews the recommended best practices for when and when not to use a subsidiary view.
