During our PH User group, we recently conducted a hands-on workshop on building a Management Report in Anaplan.  Key benefits of having management report in Anaplan are as below:

  • to be able to report at the speed of business
  • to be able to convey your point clearly and more effectively
  • Improve effectiveness of reporting narratives
  • Simplify management reporting process

Few tips were also shared during the session in creating an effective management reports

  • add dynamic texts
  • use images and icons
  • layer cards
  • use pre-canned table formats
  • edit your page selectors

Best practices:

  • design an attractive cover page
  • ensure that spaces and layout are planned properly
  • make use of Dynamic text 
  • be very creative in presenting your report. Make use of visuals to attract attention of users
  • be consistent with using color
