Anaplan Product and Feature Updates:
The Latest Anaplan Releases page will provide context and videos explaining the new releases whilst the Release Notes will provide practical information about the release. Subscribe to stay informed about upcoming releases.
Here are some recent highlights from the December Releases page with the release note found here:
o Filter Across Line Items - this can be a simplistic zero suppression approach to large number grids or can be very effectively used for text formatted line items.
o Expand and collapse in cells with list pickers (List Formatted Line Items). This is an exciting change that allows you to collapse and expand large list selection in list pickers.
o Row and Column Formatting. – Page Builders can now apply additional formatting options in grids. This will especially be helpful in formatting Line Item Subsets Grids as you will now be able format percentages correctly in these reporting modules. Some of the formatting options are:
o Background
o Colour
o Emphasis (Bold, Italic, Underline)
o Number Format (Currency, Percentage)
o Number Scale (Default, Thousands, Millions)
o Role-based Page Access was released in November but it has now been updated with a video showcasing the functionality. The functionality allows you to restrict who can modify a page by role, while still giving users flexibility to create their own pages and reports.
o Anaplan Product Roadmap released in December – contact your CSBP for an overview of the roadmap highlights.
o Quarterly Customer Platform Release Webinar – Please register for the upcoming quarterly platform release webinar scheduled for January 28 at 8am Pacific Time (it is late for AU and NZ time zones). By registering, you will receive the recording. Registration is now open here. Topics demo’d will be:
o Engine-specific content in Anapedia integration
o Role-based page access
o Network charts
o Axis label formatting
o Row/column formatting
o Filter across line items

The Support Portal Go Live has been delayed, and we are awaiting a new release date which we understand is imminent. If you have any questions, please connect with your Customer Success Business Partner.

Anaplan Academy migrated to the new platform in December and learner records of completions have also transferred. Please note that if you have trouble accessing prior completions and have used a personal email address for any learnings, you may have to update your Academy profile email address to your employer email address. Please contact academy@anaplan.com with the change request and please CC your Customer Success Business Partner in the email.
