Re: ITEM(Versions) : Versions is not recognized as a hierarchy in the model
I guess you might have figured out the solution but just wanted to pointed out why Anaplan doesn't accept FC2 initially. I noticed that whenever there is character other than text such as numbers or special characters, Anaplan will automatically put single quote before and after the line items. However, in Versions there is no way to point and click the version when creating the formula (same goes for list property formula), so we have to be aware to put the single quote before and after the item which has number/special character in its name.
I know it is pretty obvious but some of the new users might not be aware of this.
Thanks,
Leo
Re: I need to add new item to Tree View (General List)
Thanks Amaya, your advise resolved my issue.
Re: I need to add new item to Tree View (General List)
Good
Please check 'formula' in the Proeperties tab. There you can see where the display name come from.

Re: I need to add new item to Tree View (General List)
Well, is this a numbered list ?
Then, you have to change value of the property to change the display name.

Re: [UPDATED] Summary Calculations with the User List
thanks @rob_marshall - good to know about #2 otherwise would have to have all sorts of maddening workarounds to show those.
Re: [UPDATED] Summary Calculations with the User List
Good questions…On the first one, no, I do not know when that will be updated or what the status of that actually is. On number 2, non WSA's will not be able to see the Total of Users from an input perspective, but they will from a report perspective (getting the data from the input and reporting it out without Users as a dimension).

Re: Management Reporting: Export to PowerPoint
This is a must-have. We cannot use Management reporting because we need to have the option to add some custom slides to a standard slide deck.
Anaplan for Microsoft 365 ppt add-in is very limited in functionality, insufficient alternative. Not suited for reporting to management.
Please prioritize exports to ppt.
Re: How I Built It: Data locking and validation within processes
@saglago that is fascinating, I definitely forgot about that specific functionality of Versions!
For reference, here is the mini lesson on that functionality:
It is useful for whenever input data has the Versions and Time dimensions - if you need to lock version data that is not on the time dimension, then you would need to use Dynamic Cell Access or some other method.
