Resync PROD - DEV Enviroments
Hello,
I needed to do a rollback on the PROD model to an ID from the History, so it implied to get the PROD from DEPLOYED to STANDARD mode. I knew before that this will happen, but it was kind of urgent to solve the issue that we had so this was the only way.
Now I am asking you, what is the best option to resync the models? Can I use Compare/Sync option on DEV model to compare with PROD and then do the modifications again in DEV and do the sync again to PROD? This was my first option that came in my mind.

In Prod, select Revert to Last Revision
Now you will be able to sync from Dev to Prod.

- You can create a production copy in the dev workspace and make that dev, if you don't have any existing structural changes in the current DEV model. That would be a quick approach to making both models in sync, keeping in mind there is no sensitive data in production that cannot be exposed to dev team. 😉
- If you go by the other option, which is using Revert to Last Revesion, your structural changes will be reverted in production, you need to make the same changes in dev and resync to prod model. Make sure you revert to last revision when you make all those changes in dev, so that you can quickly push the change again from dev. Make sure you do a model copy just for reference later before reverting anything.
