Extending formula bar height

Is it possible to extend the height of the formula bar as you can in Excel? It would be very useful when editing long formulas.

    Options
    Yes (as I discovered accidentally!), if you double click the formula field in Blue Print mode (rather than clicking the line item name next to the formula bar), an editing window will pop up.
