Using FORMULA SCOPE on a line item with NO VERSIONS
Hi All,
I am reviewing a model where formula scope has been assigned to a line item which is NOT dimensioned by versions. The line item also contains a formula.
The line item can be manually edited which would suggest the formula is cancelled out by the formula scope settings.
My instinct tells me that the formula scope should be changed to 'All Versions' but I have seen this a number of times in the same model.
Is there any occasion where this would be a deliberate set-up.
It feels like a whole lot of wrong however!!!

Appreciate the confirmation.
I am surprised it is even possible to use formula scope when the line item has not versions.
Thanks,
