Level 1 4.6.6 Activity: Import Data into P1 Product Family List.

Hi you amazing community 🙂

When I import the data for P1 list and map it, I either get an error that family name doesn't exist (chocolates doesn't exist), or CH maps under chocolate, etc. There's also no option for parent mapping.  My grid doesn't look like the training instructions and I'm stuck.

There is no option to map the parent because the parent information doesn't exist in the source file.  However, as there is only a top-level parent for the list this shouldn't be an issue.

 

The 4th screenshot looks like it is correct with the family name going to the first line and Family Code going to the Code line.

 

On the top right of the import box, there is a section that allows you to define how ANaplan will uniquely identify Items.  Because you have already got the Names loaded make sure the Name Only option is selected:

 

 

Using that set-up, does the import work & if not could you post a screenshot of the error you are getting, please.
