circular reference issue

I am facing the below circular reference issue. what can i do to calculate "carried interest"?

Hi @drathod

I see the circular reference is happening on time dimension. you can mitigate the circular reference by using LAG, Lead with Strict or substitute optional selection in Anaplan.

Hi,

It would be easier to follow if you also shared the formula you created. I am assuming the circular reference is due to time dimension (Excel calculated at a cell level whereas anaplan calculates at a line item (column/row) level. This restricts your usage of different date values from the same line item. Try using PREVIOUS function to remove any lookups you're using. Again, would appreciate if you share actual build SS. That would help us be more specific
