Action with multiple source models
Hi community,
I have a page with 2 source models: Model A and Model B. I want to add an action card which runs a process from Model A.
When I add the process to the action card, it automatically adds a process from Model B to the card. And the 2 processes don't have the same name.
So, if the user selects Model B and runs the action, it will run the wrong process.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @BenjaminNiel - unfortunately cards on an App page can only be sourced from a single model. The "enable multiple source model" functionality is primarily intended for ALM usage to link the UX pages to the deployed and development models which are structurally linked. Additional detail on ALM for UX can be found here: https://community.anaplan.com/t5/How-To/Application-Lifecycle-Management-for-the-User-Experience/ta-p/65921#:~:text=Application%20Lifecycle%20Management%20(ALM)%20enables,now%20build%20pages%20inside%20apps
Here is a similar thread that provides some additional thoughts as well as links to enhancements that have been proposed on the Idea Exchange to allow for the type of functionality you describe.

My advice is to only use 'enable switch source models' only for ALM purposes.
This help page below explains a scenario where an end user may experience an unexpected different source model displayed as they navigate between pages. See the paragraph on "Default source selection".

Ok clear, thank you @Tiffany.Rice & @ChrisStauffer for your quick reply!
I will only use "enable multiple source models" in a page for ALM purposes from now on.
