7.2.3 Activity: Import Data into Employee Details Module

When importing data into the SYS08 Employee Details module, my end results looks like the second photo when the goal is the first. I have imputed the correct mapping, and manually mapped the employee detail line items as well as changed the date format to YYYYMMDD. I'm not sure what the error is, I keep getting the error message in the last two screenshots.

For SYS08 you will need to format the start and end dates as MM/DD/YYYY.

Has anyone ever succeeded in performing this activity? I have tried several times but still now I don't understand where I am going wrong.

Hey Davidhavugiman,

Please refer the below screenshots to import data,

Step 1: Change the format of code in excel sheet. save

Step 2: Import csv file to module. match code to E2 employee# and column headers to SYS08 Employee Details Line Items. then edit the date format for start date and leave date. refer below screenshots.

Then Run Import.

How can I insert line items in source line item during mapping

2.2.6 Instructions: Edit Load Employee Details action

Return to the Actions tab of the Actions pane.

Edit Import action 2.4 Load Employee Details

Update line item mapping: 

• Dept Name -> Department
• Country Name -> Country
• Active? -> (ignored) 
• Country Code -> (ignored)
• Dept Code -> (ignored)

Match your model to the screenshot.
Note that you are NOT populating the Active? line item with this import.

Edit the mapping for the line items in Import: 2.4 Load Employee Details
