How to remove blank values from dot chart
Hi Anaplan Community,
I would like to get rid of dots in dot charts that stand for blank or zero values.
Initially I thought I had to change the number format to blank for zero values (instead of zero), because that had done the trick for the bar chart, but this does not seem to work for the dot chart type. Any workaround here?
See picture attached of the graph and the module. You will see that for the blue forecast bars the bars nor the data label shows but for the red dots, the dots shows up.
thank you!

@ryan_kohn explained this in a detailed answer some time back. Check his response here and see if it helps.

Thanks for the shoutout @ankit_cheeni! I also expanded on that post in this How To article: https://community.anaplan.com/t5/How-To/Suppressing-zeros-in-line-charts/ta-p/143610. The same technique works on dot charts.

Thank you for your quick reply. That worked.
However, it would be nice if "hide zeroes" would become a standard chart setting in Anaplan UX. That would avoid this workaround with line items and other modules.

Nice idea! It seems there are a couple related ideas posted on the Idea Exchange. You can kudo these or if they don't quite capture your requirement, feel free to add a new one or add a comment on an existing one.
