Export dashboard
Hello,
When I export a dashboard to Excel, I can see the below if I use the “grid view”.
Item | $$ |
Style A | 100 |
Style B | 200 |
Shoes | 300 |
However, I’d like it to be like this:
Parent | Item | $$ |
Shoes | Style A | 100 |
Shoes | Style B | 200 |
Is there a way I can do this in Anaplan? I'd like to just export the current page.
Thank you so much!

Hi @JZCG ,
I assume you are speaking of exporting a grid view from a page?
To have the parent of a list appear in a separate column, I recommend you create a list property.
Ex: Consider a hierarchy with 2 levels: L1 Region, L2 Country.
Create a list property in L2 Country to derive the Parent value. Now, while exporting the grid view [that is dimensioned by L2 Country] from a page, include this list property in the "Labels" tab. Enable "Include row label headers" as well and Export.
The export would look like this. You now have parent in an additional column.
However, if you wish to not see the Parents in the rows at all, I would recommend you hide them using the show/hide or via filters applied to the grid before executing the exports.
Best,
Nik

Hello @JZCG ,
No, I don't think you can directly export like this from current page.
You have to a Export action to have export in that format. You can either choose what nik had mentioned but I prefer to create export from a saved view.
Thanks,
