Quick question on ALM - On 31st Jan I developed something and create a revision tag and sync it to prod. And on 1st Feb I again develop something and don't want this to be in the prod but I wanted to be on the dev model. On 2nd Feb I develop something and create a revision tag and sync it to prod .I do not want to have the development created on 2nd Feb. How canIi do that?
In DEV model you can go back and forward as you please and create the revision tags that contain only the modifications that you want to push in PROD.
In your case, you could follow these steps:
- Save the current history ID log from DEV
- Restore DEV model to a history ID log that contains 31st jan developments
- Redo the 2nd Feb developments in DEV and push them in PROD
- you can restore the DEV model to history ID from point 1 that contains all the developments
below is an article about pushing in PROD incomplete developments: https://community.anaplan.com/discussion/33595/save-incomplete-changes-when-synchronizing-in-alm/p1
hope it helps
