Use Time dimension in a formula

I have a module with Day as the time dimension. I would like to refer to the module time dimension in a formula. For example, WEEKDAY(time dimension). So that on January 1, 2023, the line item would return 7 (for Sunday). Is this a thing?

Do you mean this? WEEKDAY(ITEM(TIME)) and is number fomatted.
