I would like to understand how will the sync option help to activate all the Grids with one selector

Based on your image, I guess that you have multiple grids/graphs with different levels of the same hierarchy or subsets of the same list, please correct me if this is incorrect. My understanding is that they will be sync as long as the Context of the grids has not been unsync - please refer to the image below.
Now, as long as the members are in all the lists, you can either click in the items or use the page selector. However, the misalignments can lead to all the selectors showing different content so beware of that.
