Adding a top level hierarchy list within existing hierarchy

edited May 2023 in Modeling

Hello,

In our current model, we have an existing hierarchy with let's call A and its child B. We want to add a new hierarchy list as X, and X will be the parent of A. As far as I know, adding a top hierarchy list should not cause any issues for the current modules with list A and list B dimensions and shouldn't ruin any existing functionalities, but I want to hear from fellow model builders if there is any issue I need to aware of or anything I need to do beyond adding the new hierarchy member. Thanks

Adding a level to the top or the bottom isn't a big deal, it is adding a new level in the middle of the current hierarchy is where you can run into some fun.
